Food Pantry

Food. Faith. Family. Friendship.

A Life of Ministry and Obedience

At Table of Life Ministries, we believe in the power of love in action. Our Food Pantry is one way we live out our calling to care for those in need. Located close to Downtown Springfield, IL, our pantry is well-stocked with a variety of nutritious food items, offered free of charge to individuals and families in our community. Through the Community Food Pantry and our Hope of Life Outreach Project, we work to address food insecurity head-on because no one should go hungry. Whether we’re handing out groceries, serving hot meals, or helping parents pack healthy lunches, our goal is simple: Feed the body, heal the heart, and share the love of Jesus—because there’s a seat for everyone at The Table.

No cost. No registration. No Judgment.Just love and support from your neighbors at Table of Life Ministries.

HOPE of Life Outreach Project

The HOPE of Life Outreach Project is the heart of our mission to love and serve others, spiritually and practically. Overseen and founded by Pastor Jessie Herring, this initiative was born from a dream God placed on her heart as a teenager. Today, it serves the Springfield, IL community with compassion, dignity, and care.

Through community meals, weekly backpack food giveaways, mentorship, and seasonal outreach events, we share the message of Christ while addressing real-life challenges such as hunger, housing instability, and emotional or spiritual need.

We believe that hope is more than a feeling; it’s an action. It’s prayer, food, love, and presence. Through HOPE, we extend the table to anyone in need.

Who Can Receive Help?

The HOPE of Life Outreach is open to anyone in need of food, encouragement, or assistance.
We serve:

  • Families with children

  • Seniors and single adults

  • Women in transition

  • Homeless individuals

  • Youth in the juvenile detention system

No one is turned away. We believe everyone deserves to be fed, supported, prayed for, and treated with respect and kindness.

Want to Help?

You can partner with the HOPE Project in several meaningful ways:

  • Volunteer your time for food giveaways, Sunday meal service, or outreach events

  • Donate non-perishable food, hygiene items, or financial gifts

  • Help Spread the Word by sharing our mission, events, and needs with your community

  • Pray for the individuals we serve and for God’s continued provision

Together, we are Helping Others through Prophetically Empowered service—bringing hope where it’s needed most.
